Edited this post to add pictures!!After driving through torrential down pours and crazy wind on Friday night, we finally made it to my parents' house in Fredericksburg - which I lovingly call Frednecksburg. This is the house that I moved into in the late 1990s after my sister graduated from high school and my mother finally moved so that our family was whole once again (a long story that included a retirement from the Navy, a job in NoVa and a family split by 200 miles for nearly 5 years). This is the same house I lived in after returning to school at Mary Washington College (granted, I lived in the dorms for one semester after I returned to school, but it was cheaper and just made sense to live at home after that).
