february 23, 2002 was the day we said “i do.”
when we got married, we had already been together for eight years. we’ve managed to make it through another eight more.
sixteen years i’ve been with this man.
sixteen years.
that’s half of my life {so far}!
i’d be a liar if i said things have been peachy & all lovey-dovey. like any other relationship, they haven’t. we’ve had our ups. we’ve had our downs. there have been moments when he’s been a real joy to be around…not. and, of course, there have been times when i’ve been a less than stellar girlfriend/wife.
bottom line is this, though:
this is my man. the love of my life. he is my best friend. he is my soul mate.
we can’t picture ourselves without the other.

I the hubs & I will celebrate our 15 year wedding anniversary in August. I think it says alot for couples our age who are still together. In this day & time the divorce rate is so high(especially for those who marry young like we did).
I will NEVER regret getting married at 19. The Lord has truely blessed our marriage and our lives everyday!

I have been married as of this past Nivember 11 yrs and come March of this yr it will be 16 yrs we too have been together.
