i’m on spring break.

i’ve taken a break from practicum {did you read yesterday’s post?}.  i have a huge project to work on {and, hopefully, complete} over spring break, but i told myself i would have a little fun first.  and, since it’s tuesday, the sun is FINALLY shining & i really should be doing something other than blogging, well, you’re getting a post that is chock full o’ random…in list form.

get excited.

• adam has been using my clarisonic.  i’m not sure how i feel about this.  i told him that we could get him one of his own.  he said no.  my husband is also probably going to kill me for telling y’all about his new facial routine.  but, there’s nothing to be ashamed about…the man just wants clean, clear pores!
• my favorite beach bum turned me on to accessory auctions on facebook.  now i’m totally coveting a sideways cross necklace.  you know, because i didn’t comment fast enough to get one last night.  le sigh.
• my fingers and toes are ready for spring.  i gave myself a mani/pedi at 10:30 last night.  i’ve professed my love for seche vite before, but if you haven’t tried seche vite you NEED to stop being so damn stingy and buy a bottle.  it’s worth every last bit of the $9 you’ll pay for it.  trust me.
• waking up to a “sheet mark free” mani/pedi is priceless.  of course, now i want to wear flip flops and show off my orange toes {opi’s a good man-darin is hard to find}.  we may be hard core in the 757 about wearing flip flops in chilly weather, but i’m not THAT hard core.
• i’m excited to use this little gem:

• see the bedspread in the picture?  it’s new.  i found it at tj maxx.  buxton destroyed my beloved isaac mizrahi comforter.  destroyed as in ripped holes in it & de-stuffed about half of the king size comforter.  i almost de-stuffed buxton.
• getting ultrasound pictures of my sweet nephew make me sooooooooo happy!  i’m very excited for my sister & brother-in-law.  i just hope my summer school/practicum schedule this summer is flexible so i can visit my sister {read: stock  her freezer full of meals} & love on my nephie.
• malia turns 11 in six days.  wah.
• we’re taking the plunge…we’re getting rid of cable.  we started our free hulu trial last night.  we also played around with amazon instant, too.  we’re pleasantly surprised to find that we don’t need to buy a roku.  everything we need to stream television & movies is already in our living room:  our blu-ray dvd player and our wii.

i have more, but i need to get ready to coffee & ulta with another favorite of mine.  yes, coffee & ulta are used as verbs in my circle of friends.  why?  because they are things that we do.  we coffee.  we ulta.
