ask any parent of school-aged children and they will tell you that the first day of school is better than christmas {or whatever holiday you celebrate}. if they say it’s not, clearly THEY ARE LYING!
yesterday, my kidlets headed back to school. two different schools: one to elementary and the other to middle school.

anyways, the tuesday after labor day is always our first day of school. the morning went off without a hitch. well, except for aidan’s rockin’ case of bed head. yeah, he went to school like that. i learned a LONG time ago to pick my battles.
