i seriously thought i would get back into the swing of things with blogging now that i am down to one summer class, but - clearly - i haven't.  so before i get a few blog posts scheduled and write about more meaningful content, i'm going to share a hodge-podge of information with you. call it a brain dump. call it word vomit. call it being random. as for me?  i'm calling it tuesday randoms.  we've had basic cable for a few months now.  i miss a lot of the shows i used to watch when we had "fun" cable, but i can honestly say that we watch less t.v. than we did before.  and, whenever our television is on, we're either watching p.b.s. or animal planet.  {okay, we're still watching the food network, too...even though it's not part of the basic cable line up.} speaking of … [Read more...]

...and, therefore, i present to you the random thoughts running through my head: i never did make laundry detergent yesterday.  shit. efffff, i have to clean the bathtubs today.  i hate cleaning the bathtubs. i have GOT to get my oreck giveaway scheduled.  {the post should go live tomorrow...saturday morning at the latest.} i wish frisco would stop barking every. single. time. he goes outside. hmmm...maybe frisco needs a shock collar.  {i kid, i kid!} this time next week my parents will be here. in two weeks, the kids & i will be visiting sweet grayson! just ten days until the dave matthews band show.  i better not be disappointed with our "seats."  {we bought pit passes, y'all.} my van needs an alignment.  i need an auto repair sugar daddy. speaking of … [Read more...]

...that stares at baskets of clean laundry in hopes that they'll fold themselves AND put themselves away.  {i won't tell you how long it took me to put away that stack of towels...} ...that forgot to do day 5 of the mean abs june workout & now it's june 6th.  whoops. ...who received a LOT of thirty-one goodies yesterday.  want to place an order or host an online party?  i'm your girl. ...that doesn't make her bed every morning.  but i did this morning because i'm kind of obsessed with my new pillow cover... ...that likes to get pedicures but then wonders why the hell it cost $27 because the polish looks like crap.  shellac manis, however, are a different story. ...that needs to clean out her car.  y'all, i've been hauling around quite a bit of sand...leftovers … [Read more...]
